MaineHealth-Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine is an ACGME Accredited training site for EMS medicine training one fellow per year.
MaineHealth is partnered with Portland Fire Department (the busiest 911 service in Maine) and LifeFlight of Maine (Maine’s only helicopter critical care transport service) to provide a robust and exciting clinical experience for trainees
EMS Faculty work at all levels of EMS, allowing fellows insight into local medical direction, regional medical direction, statewide medical direction, and even work with national specialty services
MaineHealth is the only EMS Fellowship program in Northern New England
